I twisted my ankle fairly badly on Wednesday, so decided to take yesterday off. Today is my normal rest day. I have been pushing pretty hard this week, so my body is really enjoying the rest.
Saturday I will be back at it though I do plan to walk, unless my ankle miraculously heals tonight. I am looking forward to the long weekend.
In an attempt to drink more (frankly I am tired of water) I got a Coconut Water to try. It is supposed to be a healthy alternative to sugary drinks, but boy howdy I do not like it! I tried it in Okinawa when Janelle and Karla came to visit. It was no kidding fresh from a coconut. I thought maybe my taste buds had matured. Nope!
So I need to lose 5 pounds by next Wednesday. I don't think I will make it, but I am trying. It's only round 2 of DietBet so I don't feel too terrible about it. There are still 4 more rounds to win!
