In the Beginning...Take 2

Ok so it has been an entire month since I started training, and I have been off exercising and diet for 3 weeks of that month. I have several excuses:

1. My treadmill is official dead
2. My left ankle/foot is killing me
3. I run out of energy before I run
4. Breathing is hard work LOL

What it all boils down to is this: I need to get back on the wagon.

Chris took pity on me and ordered me a top of the line treadmill for Christmas! (OK, the next 4 Christmases actually) It just got delivered today and I am looking forward to my first run on it tonight. Since it is Halloween (a big deal where I work) there have been pot lucks galore here. I of course have been eating a little bit of everything so I think my run tonight will be more of a wog.



I will do a full review of the treadmill tomorrow! In the meantime, enjoy some Hayewlloween pictures!

1.1 In the beginning.....

Yes, this was a mighty slow "run" but beginnings are hard! Here is the breakdown:

5 min warm up @ 3.5
1 min @ 3.5 / 4 min @ 5.0 (20 min)
5 min cool down @ 3.5

I am happy to get started. My goal for the week is to do (4) 30 min runs. I will be taking the weekend off, so no long run this week.

September Report

Sept. 1: 235.8
Oct. 1: 232.8

Monthly Loss: 3 lbs
Total Loss: -12.2 lbs

Obviously I am a little disappointed that last month (from the 1st to the 1st) I only lost 3 pounds. But the overall tend is in the right direction.



I had a bit of a hiccup in the second week, but overall I am pleased. And can't wait to see what Nov. 1st brings. My goal is to lose 3 pounds by Oct. 16. I think I can hit it.
